ci sono differenze sostanziali, il turano è zona nota, ha avuto un certo sviluppo successivo alla creazione del bacino. Da vallecupola a varco sono 4Km, poi da varco si scende fino al salto 8km. Dalla diga si prende per borgo s. pietro; altri 8km che costeggiano il lago (si possono vedere degli scorci che imitano i fiordi), sosta sul ponte panoramico poco prima di borgo per uno scatto e infine si risale da borgo sulla rieti-torano sr578 che arriva in 17km alla valle del salto ove si prende l'a24, sotto i monti della duchessa e il mt. velino e si torna a casa.
p.s. la 'turanense' collega castel di tora a vallecupola da cui si arriva a varco sabino ma è dissestata e non praticabile se non con molta anzi estrema cautela e meglio con un furistrada. Ne sconsiglio il transito.
p.s. n.2; Per salire al Navegna la via più agevole è quella da vallecupola, prendendo il primo tratto, circa 1Km della turanense; la salita è segnata interamente su google map, dal parcheggio alla fonte raina fino alla cima, purtroppo non c'è segnale per il telefono.
