you're fantastic for everything you do, you just lack a better placement of the lights, in my opinion, and then you will leave us all speechless

Thank you very much Cesare and Giò for the nice words :-)
Giò for the lights I can not do better.
When I shoot handheld I have to mount the flashes in front of the lens.
For tripod shots I place them on other tripods around the subjects, but even there I am limited by plants or grass.

Just to exchange experiences:
I assembled a handle to be fixed under the camera body, these are 20 cm brackets that sell photos also on Amazon. Above I mounted the syncrho cable by putting in front of an articulated arm of the SmallRig so I orient it where I want. In case under the camera body you have the tripod plate, you can also take a head plate and so the assembly also becomes quick As an example you can see my photos of the bouquets of hedge flowers in the 2023 gallery. There I decided the shadows as they should fall and I assure you that even an inexperienced pulls out good photos

Bravissimo Marco, always compelling your stories.
Your love for nature and creation shines through, you have great sensitivity. Happy that this is a story with a happy ending. I wanted to ask you: since I was a child I have always been told that the birds that fall from the nest should not be touched because then the mother would smell our smell and would end up abandoning them condemning them to an almost certain death. But is this story true? Frankly, it has never convinced me and your story only confirms my perplexity about these 'tips'.
Keep up the good work :)

Hello Nicolò thank you very much for the nice words.
Unfortunately there is so much misinformation around.
Baby birds are not like ungulates, they can be safely touched, and the mother will not abandon them.
When we meet a bird fallen from the nest we can not know what happened, the mother may even have died.
When I see a baby during the day, before approaching I hide and observe if she is around. If after a few tens of minutes he does not show up, I will take care of it.
I had many missing birds that were never recovered by their mother despite many attempts, they stayed with me until they learned to fly.
When I found this little one it was almost dark and certain that the mother would never come again, I took it with me to prevent it from being eaten by a fox or some other predator.

Thanks for this explanation Marco, you finally clarified this doubt that I always carried with me.
