Staithes è un piccolo villaggio della costa nord dello Yorkshire affacciato sul mare del Nord. Oltre ad essere veramente suggestivo è conosciuto anche perchè la sua popolazione è molto dedita alla pesca delle aragoste e degli astici. Ho voluto rappresentarla con un primo piano delle barche dei lobster fishing in secca nel porticciolo nel tardo pomeriggio di un assolata giornata di luce; infatti mi ricordo una caldissima luce di fine giornata e un vento fortissimo!
