A compromise that is of excellent workmanship, with a single shot it is impossible to obtain an excellent result, but you still got a good result.
HELLO, Gastone. ;-)

A valuable result: the slice of the Moon towards which Paolo Bartolini's Quadrille della Libertà seems to be advancing. Yes, I know that the Moon in the
sky, always very beautiful to look at with the naked eye, is just as complicated to photograph, especially if you want to tune it in a single shot with terrestrial subjects provided with much less amount of light; so here you deserve congratulations for having succeeded in this; obviously the optimum would have been that even the Quadrille had the same definition and sharpness of the Moon .... The energetic tinkering in post production inevitably leaves some mark.... which must be accepted....; I just have one curiosity: had you tried to take some other shots focusing on the horses of the Quadrille instead of directly the Moon?

I didn't do this test, I focused only on the moon. In the other shot on the moon the frames are 2 and not 1 as in this case but the moon is the one that you really see that rises behind the roofs of the houses performed without moving the tripod and without moving the frame as it was done with the double exposures in film.

It may have made you suffer in post but the result is very beautiful. The photo by composition is subject and the lesser managed to have both subjects well exposed. Almost unbelievable. If I hadn't documented it, we are led, at least, to think of two overlapping shots. Congratulations.
Helmets.

A handheld shot that I find valuable for execution and elaboration, as stories richly in the caption, and delightful for composition. Congratulations.
