Abyaneh è un caratteristico villaggio di montagna che si trova tra i monti di Kashan a 2200 m. in una vallata isolata. Le case del villaggio, che ha una storia antichissima risalente a circa 2000 anni fa, sono costruite in mattoni e rivestite da uno strato di paglia e fango rossastro, ottenuto dal terreno locale ricco di minerali ferrosi, che gli hanno fatto meritare il soprannome di Villaggio Rosso.
