Il festival delle Aquile è noto al pubblico in seguito ad un docufilm trasmesso nel 2016 "la principessa e l'aquila" che narra le vicende di Aisholpan una tredicenne che vuole diventare addestratrice di aquile, un'arte millenaria riservata fino ad allora ai soli uomini. la foto ritrae una delle due donne addestratrici in gara oggi al festival, cosi abile che la sua aquila ha agganciato la preda in pochi secondi.
