Domenica 10 ottobre 2022 io e mia moglie siamo andati a Fagagna (Ud) con l'intento di visitare l'Oasi dei Quadris, centro di reintroduzione della cicogna bianca e di salvaguardia dell'ibis eremita, in pratica un piccolo gioiello punto di riferimento per molti volatili e una piccola oasi che si visita sempre con molto piacere. Con rammarico abbiamo scoperto che è temporaneamente chiusa, parte della recinzione era abbattuta dai rami caduti dagli alberi con il vento, molti degli animali presenti non ci sono più, praticamente una situazione desolante. Solo le cicogne, qualche ibis e qualche airone si vedono ancora girare nei dintorni. Com'è possibile che una così bella realtà, attrattiva per molti visitatori, venga trascurata e abbandonata?
