09/10/1967 – 09/10/2022: 55° anniversario del barbaro assassinio di Ernesto "Che" Guevara - "Quanto tempo è passato da quel giorno d'autunno di un ottobre avanzato, con il cielo già bruno, fra sessioni di esami, giorni persi in pigrizia, giovanili ciarpami, arrivò la notizia... Ci prese come un pugno, ci gelò di sconforto, sapere a brutto grugno che Guevara era morto: in quel giorno d'ottobre, in terra boliviana era tradito e perso Ernesto "Che" Guevara... ...Il terzo mondo piange, ognuno adesso sa che "Che" Guevara è morto, forse non tornerà, ma voi reazionari tremate, non sono finite le rivoluzioni e voi, a decine, che usate parole diverse, le stesse prigioni, da qualche parte un giorno, dove non si saprà, dove non l'aspettate, il "Che" ritornerà..." Quando quel giorno d'ottobre di tantissimi anni fa appresi la notizia dell'assasinio di Ernesto "Che" Guevara avevo appena 12 anni, e a quell'età non ero ovviamente né di destra né di sinistra, ma ero un ragazzino molto curioso e fu questo il motivo per cui cominciai subito a documentarmi su questo "personaggio" di cui, fino ad allora, sconoscevo l'esistenza.

Inutile dirvi che più leggevo di questo Medico argentino "prestato" alla rivoluzione, per la salvaguardia dei diritti delle persone più deboli e dei popoli oppressi dalle dittature, più cresceva in me la voglia di sapere e di conoscere e già si alimentava il mito.

Nel mio viaggio a Cuba, la stupenda "Isla grande", ho ripercorso tutti i luoghi del "Che" fino al Mausoleo di Santa Clara dove riposano le sue spoglie, raccogliendo ancora, a distanza di molti anni, parecchie testimonianze di affetto sincero (soprattutto tra le persone meno giovani) e tanti bellissimi e simpaticissimi aneddoti.

Mi è sembrato doveroso ricordarlo nel 55° anniversario della morte anche perchè non ho mai ritenuto il "Che" né di destra né di sinistra (sebbene qualche parte politica abbia goffamente tentato di "appropriarsene") ma solo un uomo che ha scelto di schierarsi dalla parte dei più deboli e degli oppressi senza arricchirsi e senza pretendere nulla in cambio per se e/o per la sua famiglia.

Grazie mille a tutti per avere dedicato un pò del vostro tempo a questa mia immagine, per averla apprezzata anche nel suo significato e per avere portato la vostra testimonianza.
