I Voyageurs, così si chiamano i suoi viaggiatori in bronzo, dagli inizi della sua carriera sono diventati centinaia.Sculture figurative di uomini, catturati, come in una fotografia, mentre camminano verso una terra sconosciuta. Uomini a cui manca quasi completamente il torso in opere che sfidano le vecchie convenzioni classiche della scultura.Posti in luoghi di transito come porti, piazze ed aeroporti, i viaggiatori sono figure deframmentate, svuotate della propria identità, alla ricerca della salvezza o che vanno incontro alla propria rovina, uomini “aperti” al mondo, con solo una valigia piena di sogni e ricordi.Bruno Catalano nasce in Marocco nel 1960 da una famiglia franco-italiana.
