L'azienda Autobianchi venne fondata nei pressi di Milano nel 1955 mentre dal 1968 entrò a far parte del Gruppo Fiat. La Autobianchi Bianchina Berlina 4 Posti (progetto 110 DBA) venne prodotta dal 1962 al 1968… le ultime verranno immatricolate nel 1969… in 3 Serie e negli allestimenti Normale, Lusso e Special. Per la forma del vetro lunotto posteriore si prese l'appellativo di Bianchina Televisione. Mentre inizialmente si poteva ordinarla anche con la carrozzeria con verniciatura bicolore dal 1964 sarà commercializzata solo con tinta monocolore. Costruita sull'autelaio della Fiat Nuova 500… che era stato rinforzato… disponeva di un'abitacolo più confortevole ed anche una parte della meccanica era stata irrobustita. Il motore… disposto posteriormente… era il classico Fiat bicilindrico twin di 499 cm3 raffreddato ad aria che inizialmente erogava 17,5 cavalli di potenza portando la vettura a 95 chilometri orari di velocità massima poi… negli anni a seguire… la potenza aumento prima a 18 e poi a 21 cavalli portando a 110 chilometri la velocità massima. In totale di Bianchine Berlina 4 Posti ne verranno costruite circa 68.000 di cui attualmente dovrebbero circolarne ancora circa 3000 esemplari. Questa vetturetta… dopo che la sua produzione era stata interrotta… divenne famosa in quanto era la vettura utilizzata dall'attore comico genovese Paolo Villaggio quando… cinematograficamente… vestiva i panni del ragionier Ugo Fantozzi.
