Non so come definirlo se non un momento magico! Eravamo di strada per arrivare a Jackson Hole, nel nostro viaggio tra Yellowstone e Grand Teton. Pochi giorni prima con l'amico Andrea Pozzi avevamo passato questo fiume ed avevamo trovato ancora in buona luce, una coppia di alci. Quella mattina eravamo partiti prima dell'alba per cercare qualche animale da fotografare. Passato il fiume non c'erano alci ma cigni e anatidi in una situazione di luce surreale. Chi mi segue sui vari social ha visto le condizioni incredibili. Passano dei minuti ed esclamo: bellissimo, tutto fantastico, ma pensate che spettacolo aver avuto un'alce mentre attraversava il fiume con questa luce. Passano pochi secondi ed eccone una arrivare sulla nostra sinistra. Titubante ci guarda, fa qualche passo incerto verso il fiume ricco di basse piante acquatiche di cui le alci sono ghiotte. La fame è più forte del timore e l'alce si dirige verso il centro del fiume. La luce radente dell'alba la inghiotte. I -32° C non si sentono: l'emozione è molto più grande del freddo....
