Rango è un delizioso borgo che sorge sull'altura del Bleggio Superiore. Domina dall'alto tutto il territorio circostante ed è situato alle spalle del Garda e ai piedi delle Dolomiti di Brenta. È un luogo molto visitato sia in inverno per le atmosfere natalizie che si respirano e la vicinanza con la neve, ma sa farsi valere anche in estate grazie alla presenza del vicino lago di Garda. Il borgo appare come un piccolo scrigno di tranquillità e pace, scolpito nella roccia, che si apre all'improvviso dopo aver risalito i tornanti panoramici che dalla valle conducono in altura. Il villaggio vanta una lunga storia che si legge nelle mura delle antiche dimore, nei portici, negli androni e nelle corti, che appaiono comunque perfettamente conservate, come fermate in un tempo che appare ormai lontano. È un paradiso di piccole case rurali che parla di un passato che ha visto il passaggio di pellegrini, pastori, mercanti e viaggiatori solitari che sostavano per riposare e rifocillarsi. Questo ruolo di zona di passaggio di pellegrini e pastori è testimoniato dalla conformazione e dalle architetture, infatti i palazzi sono posti uno accanto all'altro e collegati da cunicoli, attraverso i quali i viandanti potevano passare senza uscire all'aria aperta, evitando così il freddo, e la pioggia o la neve.
