per molti amanti della montagna (alpinisti e non) è la montagna più bella del mondo- sicuramente è tra le più belle, insieme al Cervino, all'Ama Dablam, al Cerro Torre e al Fitz Roy solo per citare le più conosciute. E' visibile da Pokara, cittadina nepalese a 900 m di altezza e questa sfiora i 7.000 m -da Pokara bisogna alzare bene la testa per vedere la cima. poi c'è la parte di sinistra che si può ammirare dal campo base Annapurna.
