Nel cuore del centro di Siena esiste un luogo pubblico ma in realtà quasi segreto. Ingresso gelosamente controllato da una delle contrade. Non vi dirò nè il nome della valle e nemmeno della contrada da cui ci si può aver accesso. Questo per preservarne l'integrità. Siamo in aperta campagna sotto la torre del Mangia, uno spazio verde interamente sotto le mura molto grande. Da qua tra olivi e alberi di ogni genere, attraversando un enorme bambuseto, praticamente un bosco che nemmeno in Cina... Si possono ammirare da prospettive inusuali le maggiori basiliche di Siena. Provenzano, San Francesco, i Servi. Le ho fotografate ma voglio tornare, magari con il cavalletto ma Maya la mia cagnetta me lo abbatterebbe.. Un luogo veramente incantato, che nemmeno tantissimi senesi conoscono, o meglio la vedono ma non sanno da dove si potrebbe entrare.
