La Verna è uno dei cuori del culto Francescano ed anche in una breve visita è possibile cogliere i tanti aspetti di interesse artistico, culturale, storico e religioso. La quinta parte del tour fotografico dedicata al Santuario parlerà del Corridoio delle Stimmate, l'ingresso da una piccola porta ad arco con un'architettura unica (come si nota dalla fotografia) ci immette lungo l'ampio porticato curvo edificato tra il 1578 e il 1582 decorato da un ciclo di dipinti murali, ad affresco, raffigurante gli episodi della vita di san Francesco d'Assisi. Nelle altre immagini che troverete nel primo commento ho inserito delle vedute parziali dal centro del corridoio sia verso l'arco, sia verso la parte superiore dove c'è una finestra che si affaccia sulle scale costruite nella roccia della parte esterna del santuario chiamato "precipizio" In questo corridoio si svolge, dal 1431, la giornaliera processione dell'ora nona.--- Un ringraziamento a tutti coloro che osservano la fotografia e vogliono approfondire leggendo il seguito nel primo commento.
