Kamchatcha, sulle rive del Lago Kuril nel periodo luglio /settembre si concentra il più alto numero di orsi bruni al mondo; questo perchè la grande popolazione dei salmoni si ritrova a deporre milioni di uova. Gli orsi qui sono talmente concentrati nel divorare anche 40 salmoni al giorno che la presenza ( seppur esigua) dell'uomo, non li infastidisce. E' anche questo, il periodo dove i cuccioli (di 3/4 mesi) escono per la prima volta allo scoperto per affrontare questa preziosa esperienza. Saluti a tutti
