I was very lucky to get this cropped photo after many days of wind and heavy rain....this wild Barn Owl was clearly desperate for some food because it came out in the middle of the day. This beautiful species is struggling in my part of the world (most probably due to Human expansion which affects it's rodent prey?) and I have a few photo's of deceased Barn Owl's to back this theory up....but to capture this photo has been a very special moment for me....a wild Barn Owl doing it's natural thing...and for me this is how I want to always see this beautiful species... thanks for looking, cheers! :)
