Oudeschild (1.100 ab. ca.) è una località portuale sul Mare del Nord dell'Olanda Settentrionale, situata nell'isola di Texel e che si affaccia sulla Rada di Texel; è situata lungo la costa sud-orientale. Il toponimo Oudeschild, attestato in origine come 't Schilt e in seguito come Oude Schild, deriva probabilmente dal termine schild, che indica una cala nelle acque del Waddenzee. Il villaggio sorse all'inizio del XVII secolo, quando furono costruite alcune case sulla via di navigazione chiamata Skilsloot.
