Il Pantano Punto Rio (o Pantano Ponterio) è un piccolo pantano che si trova nei pressi del più grande pantano Cuba, a pochi chilometri da Portopalo (SR), molto vicino a bellissime spiagge, ma nonostante le auto che d'estate passano frequenti per la strada non asfaltata, in dialetto "a trazzera", i fenicotteri vi dimorano indisturbati celati dalla folta vegetazione.
