Al Prado when art excites you sent on June 08, 2020 (9:04) by Lorisb. 64 comments, 1320 views. [retina]

at 16mm, 1/30 f/4.0, ISO 1000, hand held. Madrid, Spain.

The emotion that arises within us, is the component of a human value that makes us alive. That's why I applaud you for the chills you made me feel when you read your caption. The nobility of your soul, is not new to describe, but surely it is to be emulated with any shot, which arises from a great emotion coming from the heart. Great Loris, undoubtedly you have a beautiful human vein, and with this BN shot, of excellent craftsmanship, you have revealed all your noble man nature.
This shot, I like it so much, and the resulting technique is sublime . :-o :-o :-o :-o

yes, to me comes the lump in my throat when I think of Raphael's most famous painting, "The Sistine Madonna" painted specifically for the church of St. Sisto in Piacenza and that the monks of 1754 sold to Augustus III of Poland and that today to admire it you have to go to Dresden. However, the likes can admire a copy hanging in S.Sisto or go and look at it on the internet :-(

I understand Alberto, going back to the great Piero della Francesca in Arezzo we still have many of his masterpieces, "the resurrection" in Sansepolcro of which I have a photo in the gallery "Walking through the province of Arezzo", "The Madonna of childbirth" in Monterchi and Arezzo in the church of St. Francis a cycle of frescoes "the stories of the True Cross", a painting at the Cathedral of Arezzo, so our artist is well present in the province while it is a pity to know that many Raphael are around Europe.
Thanks for your visit, a greeting :-P
