Incredible, to take a picture so you do not even know where to start!

Aggiungo i miei complimenti !

Unusual sense of capture and inspiration to observe animals in their business. I add my congratulations!

Reading all the comments that is having Mauro .... I understand that 3/4 of the people here not understand that there is a great little nature photography ..... But how did you think? With a 24/70. ... Has been in was no 20 cm from Martin. With the click half in and half out, and 10 cm of water .... A Mauro are the praise and compliments x Martino have found a stationary fishing in the same area, should be congratulated for having calibrated the fire, exactly where he came ... To force the fish could not move from there .... Please note I am not criticizing Mauro, but as I replied in the comment before I edited the background ...... more I'll go fishing since I was born, rivers, lakes, sea ... It is a fund so clean with no seaweed, no green on the rocks ... You can find it only in mountain streams where Martin is not home ..... I would have taken a ventilator two plants, 2/3 cardinals and some scalar ...... Wake up people the solution is called aquarium!!

However, it is still a nice picture, though I prefer the more basic and wild .....

complimenti

I agree in full with the analysis of Teo, without detracting from the ability of trial and error shooting and pure genius, I think maybe it took months to get to this point.
In this shot I will reward the patience and the strength to do what you want, but only that though ;-)
this is a humble opinion, without taking anything away from those who did.
compliments

Un saluto, Ivan

All you want to Teo, I will tell you though that I kingfisher I saw in a mountain stream last October, where I appostavo to photograph the deer, of 20 cm of water and clean the bottom ... ;-)
All the best, Ivan

@ For eddypisa I'm sorry but I did not want to be absolutely offensive
@ For ivanmazzon .. there may be that you find martin in the mountains, but this shot, but it is beautiful and well managed, and as a shot made in the studio.

" e come uno scatto fatto in studio."
Un saluto, Ivan

and as a shot made in the studio.

There may be your question, I view the equipment I thought of something like a casket placed in a place guarded by martino with a bait and remote shooting etc etc ... This is why I, like many others we asked how he did it ... There are many who build pools, perches or feeders to photograph so if Mauro had talent to build something like this and what do a picture like that, I just think it should be praised! ;-)
All the best, Ivan

Ciao
www.juzaphoto.com/me.php?l=it&pg=11035

You can also put the machine in a tank and soak it all in the water ......
Or create a pool of water in the creek side firm enough to settle the dirt and one side consists of a glass .....
Methods there are difficulties more ...

Okay, but nothing takes away the beauty of the shot, artificial lucky or prepared to be patient. Art is the result of a job .. An artist does not bea the work, but the result. Enjoy the hard work, looking forward to the compliment. Artifact or less, the author has fully reached the result. It's almost a week to ask ourselves how. I already for this, I would be proud and would walk stiffly like a penguin

Complimenti!!!!
Livio

I think this unusual and beautiful picture may at least partially repay all the preparatory work which stands behind it.
Thanks!
Livio

Complimenti;-)

Congratulations ;-)

For me, nothing strange, the author wanted to capture an action difficult to grasp, here with a good result ;-)

In the end, everyone uses various techniques to take certain animals otherwise not easily seen, such as feeding, etc..

here everything is much more difficult to build, not to mention that it's not so easy to find the right frame, the good one, here managed to perfection.

In the forum there are other similar cases, and for me it is not a problem, on the contrary, we welcome these examples.

Congratulations to the author for the result and the knowledge and skills necessary to make this shot :-)
