“La brezza dell'alba ha segreti da dirti. Non tornare a dormire.” Natale 2016, ricordo ogni dettaglio di quella mattina, sono partito in scooter alle 5 del mattino dalla parte nord di Phuket in direzione Rawai, durante il tragitto ho attraversato un pezzo di strada buio pesto tra alberi, e barriti di elefanti che provenivano dagli elephant camp, non nascondo un po' di paura mista a emozione... Arrivato a Rawai, ho cominciato a vedere le prime luci del crepuscolo, e per strada i monaci buddisti nel loro rito del mattino di raccolta offerte. Mi sono fiondato subito in riva dove partono le imbarcazioni dei pescatori, tolto le scarpe ed entrato in acqua con treppiedi e macchina fotografica.. Un male ai piedi camminare sopra i coralli, però quella è stata una delle albe più belle che io abbia mai visto, ed è impressa nella mia mente..
