Vestita con quattro stracci e sempre scalza, mi incuteva una certa paura, ma anche curiosità e simpatia, perché era tanto buona, ma era l'impersonificazione della befana o delle streghe delle favole.
Aveva una cucina economica come quella in foto. Non potendo recarsi in paese (distante 40 minuti di strada, a piedi) per fare la spesa, viveva, o sopravviveva, con i prodotti del proprio orto, qualche gallina e le loro uova, una scatoletta di "simmenthal" conservata come estrema risorsa. Candele per non sprecare energia elettrica con l'unica lampadina di casa.
Personaggi che non esistono più, ma servirà pure a qualcosa il progresso!
