Alberto anche io ho fatto un giro esaustivo delle località che descrivi ma un'altra delle cose eccezionali che ho vissuto è stata quella di attraversare il mitico ponte Pegasus (Pegasus bridge) il primo lembo di terra liberato dopo lo sbarco, dove si trova, appena attraversato, il Cafè Gondrè, il cui interno è tappezzato da documenti e fotografie di reduci e celebrità in visita, locale che continua la sua vita scandita da baguette e pastis e dove è possibile incontrare Arlette Gondrèe che allora aveva 4 anni ma che ricorda lucidamente gli eventi di quella notte indimenticabile.
PS:Il nome Pegasus è stato dato in codice per lo stemma che avevano al braccio i soldati della 6th Divisione aviotrasportata britannica (un cavallo alato)
