Il soggetto che più desideravo in questo mio ultimo viaggio e a cui ho dedicato molto tempo ed energie. L'inizio è stato frustante, con avvistamenti in posizioni pessime di soggetti lontani che scappavano ancora prima che riuscissimo a metterli a fuoco! Fortunatamente con un po' di perseveranza e grazie alla mia abilissima guida ed amico Yehudi Hernandez, dopo una lunga ricerca nella foresta siamo riusciti a trovare un magnifico maschio adulto dalla coda lunghissima, da un'ottima posizione e in una bella ambientazione, proprio come speravo. Si è fermato per cinque minuti, giusto il tempo per riprenderlo come si deve da tre diverse posizioni. Parque Nacional Los Quetzales, Provincia di San José.
