Monumento in pietra realizzato da Jean Paul Philippe nel 1993 e collocato al bivio di tre stradine di campagna fra Mucigliani e Leonina. Questa la definizione che dell'opera da l'artista francese: Qualche anno fa un pensiero ha completamente occupato il mio tempo, realizzare in pietra e mettere in spazio tre posizioni familiari: seduta, alzata, sdraiata ... e lasciarle mute a dialogare fra loro nella solitudine e nel silenzio di un luogo naturale. Non avrei mai potuto immaginare che quello che stava per diventare il site transitoire sarebbe stato complice di tanti incontri. Il luogo scelto fu quello: una collina tra Siena e Asciano nel cuore delle Crete senesi, tra Leonina e Mucigliani. Compiendo quel gesto, installando quelle pietre mi resi conto che disegnavano nella luce e nello spazio i limiti di una casa. Una dimora senza mura dalla soglia invisibile. A terra alcune lastre, una sedia per accogliere il passante, un banco, una finestra e per tetto la volta celeste. L'ombra di questo mobilio di pietra tracciava al suolo la sua passeggiata grazie alle apparizioni della Luna e del Sole. Nel solstizio d'estate è nell'appiombo della finestra che il disco solare sparisce, mentre brillano la prima stella e le luci di Siena.
