Con il ponte realizzato a Cosenza, l'archistar catalana Santiago Calatrava lascia un altro segno architettonico di rilievo in Italia, e regala al nostro paese un record europeo: il ponte “strallato” più alto in Europa. Un record niente male se si considera che Calatrava ha realizzato diversi ponti in Europa e nel mondo (dall'Argentina a Siviglia e Barcellona, da Gerusalemme alla California, dal Texas a Calgary). La struttura non passa inosservata, il pilone in acciaio è alto 104 metri e pesa 800 tonnellate. (fonte Il Sole 24 Ore). Prima di eseguire lo scatto ho fatto un sopralluogo sul ponte con la luce diurna senza macchina fotografica. Ho percorso a piedi più volte il ponte avanti e indietro e ho fatto qualche scatto di prova con il cellulare.
