L'aquilegia, comunemente chiamata Colombina, o anche ballerina, è una pianta perenne; esistono molte specie di questa pianta appartenente al genere delle ranunculacee, in quanto esistono aquilegie in tutto l'emisfero nord, dall'Europa al nord America, dall'Asia all'Africa. In Europa, le specie più diffuse in natura sono Aquilegia vulgaris, e aquilegia alpina; da queste specie sono stati prodotti i primi ibridi, che sono rapidamente aumentati di numero con l'introduzione delle specie originarie dell'America settentrionale. Ringrazio fin da ora chi si soffermerà a guardare questo mio scatto e ringrazio l'amico Mau... lui sa il perchè!!!
