Le Victoria falls (Mosi-oa-Tunya) nella lingua locale, si trovano al confine tra lo Zambia e lo Zimbabwe, furono scoperte dalle'esploratore scozzese David Livingstone nell'anno 1855. Le cascate vennero battezzate da Livingstone con il nome di Victoria, in onore della Regina Vittoria appunto. In lingua locale significa: "Il fumo che tuona". Si trovano a metà percorso dello Zambesi, sono due cascate una con un salto di 85 mt, quella centrale presenta un salto di 105 mt. Tutte e due le cascate creano una nebbia di goccie d'acqua che si elevano per 1600 mt, e rendono le cascate visibili da circa 40 Km. questa è una foto aerea, scattata da un elicottero.
