Imagine if while I have my head stuck in the engine compartment of the car trying to understand the incomprehensible I would think of taking a picture!!! :-P
Instead... brilliant.
Excellent test Pierpaolo, also for the beautiful B / W that you pulled out.

I always have to understand if the bolts tighten turning to the right or to the left :-D
But even on photography there are still many vast gray areas 8-)
Greetings
Pierpaolo ;-)

The intersection of the various diagonals included in the frame gives a nice depth and three-dimensionality to the shot in which the man is placed (rightly) in the background to leave the well-deserved space for the engine in the foreground. That said, his expressiveness still stands out a lot and he takes the picture. Great shot, congratulations Pierpaolo.

Dear Fabio, I'm very pleased to read your thoughts on this old shot.
I took this photo at the time when I had started a basic photography course, the teacher had told us to shoot with the right exposure, no pp, basically a bare and raw Jpeg to test our quality in understanding light.... Of course in manual (and I still shoot in manual, no automatisms except, every now and then, the autofocus).
The teacher liked the shot too ;-)
Greetings
Pierpaolo
