La lantana è un tipico fiore dell'estate, qualcosa non va se ha ripreso a fiorire a fine novembre. A spasso con Chicca, la mia bassottina, ho urtato contro questo fiore sul marciapiede, sconfinato da un giardino. L'ho requisito per occupazione dello spazio pubblico (la scusa) e a casa l'ho messo in giardino, controsole, davanti alla siepe in forte ombra. Come faccio spesso, ho esposto sulla luce più alta per fare andare l'ombra in sottoesposizione per uno sfondo quasi nero. In postproduzione ha aumentato decisamente il contrasto per avere i toni chiari più alti e quelli scuri praticamente neri. Le trasparenze e le geometrie di questi fiori sono bellissime.
