con Canon EF 2.0x II, 1/2000 f/6.3, ISO 800, tripod.

Pian piano posteremo alcuni scatti dedicati ai topini. Li seguiamo da molti anni perché in primavera al loro ritorno dall'Africa le loro acrobazie rallegrano il fiume. I topini usano lo stesso nido per molti anni, in questa immagine la coppia si alterna a ripulire il tunnel e la camera di cova dal materiale franato durante l'inverno. La femmina depositerà le sue uova su un soffice strato di fili d'erba secca e piume d'aironi, d'anatre e altri uccelli, trovate lungo l'argine del fiume. Lo sapete già eppure lo ribadiamo che per eseguire questo scatto si deve entrare nel capanno portatile quando è ancora buio, ci si siede si chiudono gli occhi e si dorme, solo l'udito resta vigile ad ascoltare il chiacchericcio dell'acqua ed il canto della civetta. All'alba si iniziano ad eseguire i primi scatti, poi quando la luce si fa dura al momento più opportuno si raccoglie il capanno in super velocità e ci si allontana di un centinaio di metri. A questo punto ci si può fermare, gustarsi la bella giornata e riporre con cura il materiale fotografico nello zaino e ritornare a casa, con un cuore più felice e migliore.
