Villanuova sul Clisi è un comune italiano di 5 802 abitanti della provincia di Brescia e appartiene alla Comunità Montana della Valle Sabbia. Ha angoli e scorci antichi molto pittoreschi e amene passeggiate lungo il fiume Chiese. La vita scorre tranquilla, gli abitanti si conoscono quasi tutti fra loro e c'è ancora quello che nelle grandi città o nei centri più grossi, manca: la comunicabilità. Passeggiando fra questi vicoli, scopri ancora una signora al balconcino che saluta chi passa per strada, o vedi nell'androne di un portoncino gruppi di gente chiacchierare. Tutte le volte che vado a Villanuova è per me l'immersione in un mondo nuovo e antico allo stesso tempo, riscopro piacere che credevo dimenticati e assoporo atmosfere che fanno parte della mia lontana infanzia.
