Paul, you who have lived through these experiences can understand deeply what it cost me to renounce this passion, and today to tell that fact that provoked it. Many times I said to myself: well, basically nothing happened, nobody died and nobody got hurt, you're only thirty-five, why quit? Many times I have been hovering between leaving and returning on the decision. .. Today I can say that the wisdom prevailed because in seven years of hiking I had to give up many times to climbs, as you will imagine, indeed, are more the waits that the conquiste...ma never like that time I realized that the feeling with the mountain had Interrupted, and the mere thought of trying again gave me a sense of discomfort. So... that's right. Heartfelt thanks for your speech, and a dear greeting!

Simone you gave me goose bumps with your story, I have always been afraid of thunderstorms in the mountains and I must say that fortunately I have always managed to avoid them, but also for me an episode to much changed the way to climb the mountain , if first rock, ice did not scare me then one day during a ascent with ski mountaineering I provoked an avalanche and I was dragged for 300 yards rolling within her, with her mouth full of snow I had all the time to think of the ugly death that FAC EVO but luck to wanted that basically I found myself over, I got away with 5 days of hospital. Sorry if on your photo I also told my experience, but I understand very well.
Beautiful shooting Simone, colors, light and fantastic atmosphere. Congratulations.

Thank you so much Andrea for telling the "terrible episode that happened to you! They are indelible memories, they will always accompany us. .. Our passion has its dangerous side, and even if you are expert and take all precautions can always be an unforeseen change the cose...ma is not so different from those who venture into the sea alone on a sailboat or a speleologist who descends one hundred meters below Earth, or whoever throws himself from a bridge with the elastic. .. I spent seven beautiful years in the mountains and, I think like you, I'm happy to be there. A very dear greeting Andrea!

I read with emotion the caption, who goes to the mountain sooner or later goes to encounter negative experiences more or less serious... The important thing is to be able to tell and remain good friends with the mountain. 8- Hello. ;-)
