La piccola città di Telč , fu fondata intorno alla fine del XIII secolo nella Moravia del sud, in Repubblica Ceca. Originariamente fu una fortezza sull' acqua, e infatti dall' alto si può bene vedere la sua posizione circondata dalle acque di un laghetto. Telč è l'esempio più puro di rinascimento italiano che si trova al nord delle Alpi, con una delle piazze più belle d'Europa. Tutto ciò la vede di diritto inclusa dal 1992 nella Lista del patrimonio dell'UNESCO. Le case che circondano la piazza sui quattro lati hanno la particolarità di avere tutte la stessa altezza e la stessa superficie. La loro regolarità crea un senso di armonia di forme e, con le loro facciate nei toni caramella, di colore, davvero gradevoli da vedere. Purtroppo le molte auto parcheggiate rovinano un poco la sua atmosfera, ecco perché vi mostro solo la parte medio alta, peccato perché il piano terra è sempre abbellito da due o tre portici :(
