Vallon Popera, gruppo Dolomiti di Sesto ... agosto 2013 ... Il vallone prende il nome dal monte Popera che con i suoi 3046 metri di altezza lo sovrasta da Sud. Altre cime prestigiose lo racchiudono: il Creston Popera, la Croda Rossa di Sesto, la Cima Undici, la cresta Zsgymondy. Il culmine del vallone è costituito dal Passo della Sentinella che permette il collegamento con l'alta Val Fiscalina. Dallo scioglimento dei piccoli ghiacciai residuali che si estendono sotto il passo, nasce il torrente Risena, le cui acque, nei pressi del Rifugio Berti, al margine meridionale del vallone, assumono tonalità suggestive ...
