Sotto casa mia, là dove sono rimaste le mura sfatte di un lavatoio, immerse del tutto nell'abbandono e nella trascuratezza della memoria, mentre ascolto con una certa apprensione la voce malinconica del rio, alcune volte serro gli occhi per spegnere ogni possibile barlume di realtà. Solo in questa semplice maniera posso finalmente rivedere le ombre cupe ed inquiete del tempo che aleggiano senza fine nella semioscurità di questo luogo. Un angolo del mio paese, una volta vivo, caduto da anni nell'oblio, dove non passa più nessuno e persino la sorgente che sgorga dal ventre della terra, lì accanto, ha timore della nuova luce di questo mondo. Poi, scivolando con trepidazione sopra due metri di sentiero fangoso, si ricongiunge segretamente con le acque immortali del mio ruscello… come la memoria degli uomini che avvalla con lentezza, tra muschi, rapide e cascate, mentre vive ed invecchia con fatica, fino a smarrirsi, laggiù, in un mare oscuro di quiete eterna...
