Si tratta di un'opera architettonica realizzata nel centro di Dubai, che ogni giorno intrattiene migliaia di persone che si recano al Dubai Mall, per assistere allo spettacolo, (il Dubai Mall, è il centro commerciale più grande al mondo per numero di negozi presenti nella struttura). Le fontane, che si muovono a ritmo di musica simulando con i loro spruzzi d'acqua una vera e propria danza, sono illuminate da colorate proiezioni luminose rese possibili dalle migliaia di fari che sono installati in tutta l'area della fontana. Gli spettatori vengono deliziati dai numerosi spettacoli giornalieri delle fontane, che sono le più grandi al mondo del loro genere, considerato che i getti d'acqua che producono possono raggiungere addirittura i 140 metri d'altezza. La fontana è lunga ben 275 metri, ed occupa uno spazio di 12 ettari all'interno del lago artificiale del Burj Khalifa.
