DUE BOTANICI SCOPRONO LA RARISSIMA PRIMULA ROSSA MILANO 23 novembre 1993 L' hanno battezzata primula albenensis, dal nome del monte di rocce dolomitiche, l' Alben, dove è stata trovata. Ed è, come spiegano i ricercatori che l' hanno individuata, "una primula di cui finora il mondo scientifico ignorava l' esistenza, una specie unica al mondo dai fiori di un intenso colore viola purpureo". "La primula albenensis - fanno sapere gli esperti - vive e cresce esclusivamente nelle nicchie e nelle fessure delle ripide pareti di dolomia del monte Alben".
