Dumínica jurnata di sciroccu, fora nan si pò stari, pi ffari un pocu 'i friscu, mettu a finesta à vanedduzza e mi vaju a ripusari. A stissa aria ca sò putenza stogghi u mò pinzeri, U cori vola s'all'umbra pigghi forma e ti prisenti, nan pozzu ripusari.(Giuseppa Romeo, in arte Giuni Russo, da Strade Parallele - Aria Siciliana camzone-poesia interpretata assieme a Franco Battiato)--- Traduzione : Domenica giornata di scirocco, fuori non si può stare, per fare un po' di fresco, socchiudo la finestra e mi vado a riposare. La stessa aria con la sua potenza scioglie i miei pensieri, il cuore vola se all'ombra prendi forma e ti presenti, non posso riposare.--- Questo scatto è stato fatto nell'antico borgo di Marzamemi "na' dumínica jurnata di sciroccu, e fora nan si pò stari po suli, era d'agosto". Da sicilano, legatissimo alla mia terra, alle mie radici e al senso di ricchezza d'una storia antica e ricca, posso solamente dire che il brano è una poesia musicata. Malgrado la comprensione immediata di alcune parole sia difficile per i non siciliani, è un "morso allo stomaco" per me. Dedico questo scatto agli amici siciliani e in particolare all'amica Agata (Marzamemi gli piace "assai") :)
