Queste sono donne di Assuan,fino a cinque anni fa, erano tranquille e sottomesse casalinghe. La loro cultura non dà molto spazio alle donne, ma in tempi di "vacche magre", per manifestazioni, terrorismo e chi più ne ha, più ne metta, sono uscite dalle loro case, e cercano di rivendere tutto quello che le capita. I loro mariti erano impegnati 24 ore al giorno con il turismo di massa, il terrorismo e il fanatismo, ha distrutto tutto.
