Süleyman Demir is a folk poet from Turkey. He creates and performs mystical poetry accompanied with his saz (Turkish musical instrument). Demir, 60 years old, is the elder brother of a close friend. He is a member of a tradition that has been continued in his family for several generations. He has never performed his art for money or fame. Composing, playing saz, singing poems are natural parts of his life. Like breathing or drinking... These days he's making his first album "Evident". His aim is creating just a memory for his children and newborn grandkid. He did not refuse my request and let me take his photographs. We have created a few memories together in addition to his first album ...
