Questa foto l'ho scattata dalla vetta dell'Adam's Peak, in Sri Lanka. Si devono salire 5200 scalini con un dislivello di 900 metri per arrivare a vedere l'alba dal picco. E' il cammino dell'espiazione, i credenti, spesso anziani, ciechi o mutilati, lo eseguono scalzi e senza adeguato abbigliamento. Ma quando arrivi in alto non conta più niente. La tua età, la tua nazionalità, la tua religione. Solo il vento, freddo e pungente, soffia regalando la sensazione di pace e libertà.
