Il Lilium bulbiferum L. subsp. Bulbiferum appartiene alla famiglia delle Liliaceae ed è comunemente chiamato Giglio rosso o, dato che fiorisce intono alla fine di Giugno, Giglio di San Giovanni. Il nome del genere, Lilium, è il nome latino del giglio mentre il nome della specie significa portatore di bulbi e perché è una pianta bulbifera e perché, all'ascella delle foglie superiori, sono presenti dei bulbilli. E' specie protetta. Scatto effettuato in Val di Fassa nel mese di Luglio 2017.
