Nella chiesa maggiore di San Romedio, la pala dell'altare raffigura l'antico eremita con l'orso al guinzaglio, mentre gli affreschi delle pareti raffigurano i dodici apostoli, l'Annunciazione e l'Assunzione della Madonna. Il Santuario di San Romedio (732 m.) è uno dei più caratteristici eremi e testimoni della fede cristiana d'Europa. Sorge sulla vetta di uno sperone di roccia alto più di 70 metri dove, secondo la leggenda, Romedio di Thaur, avrebbe trascorso la sua vita in eremitaggio. Una ripida scalinata di 131 scalini conduce il visitatore fino alla sommità dello scoglio roccioso attraverso un complesso di cinque piccolissime chiesette sovrapposte
