Oggi è un giorno triste per me - “Proprio alle soglie del Paradiso esiste un luogo chiamato il Ponte dell'Arcobaleno. Quando muore un animale che ci è stato particolarmente vicino sulla terra,quella creatura va al Ponte dell'Arcobaleno. E' un posto bellissimo dove l'erba è sempre fresca e profumata, i ruscelli scorrono tra colline ed alberi ed i nostri amici a quattro zampe possono correre e giocare insieme. Trovano sempre il loro cibo preferito,l'acqua fresca per dissetarsi ed il sole splendente per riscaldarsi, e così i nostri cari amici sono felici: se in vita erano malati o vecchi qui ritrovano salute e gioventù, se erano menomati o infermi qui ritornano ad essere sani e forti così come li ricordiamo nei nostri sogni di tempi e giorni ormai passati…" - La leggenda del ponte dell'arcobaleno (Indiani d'America) - Chi non ha mai avuto un animale domestico e non ha empatia nei loro confronti, difficilmente potrà capire la complessità e l'intensità di questo tipo di relazione.
