at 170mm, 1/1250 f/6.3, ISO 640, hand held.

What a different sunrise from yesterday! The sky was covered in thick dark cloud, making the sea dark, too. Then a deep red sun peeped briefly over the horizon before disappearing again behind the cloud. The horizon itself looked as if it were on fire and I could just make out two fishing boats, so I zoomed in close to capture the drama. The colours my camera captured were disappointing and not at all like I could see, so I've adjusted them in post processing to replicate as closely as possible what my eyes actually saw. Poi un sole rosso intenso sbirciò brevemente sull'orizzonte prima di scomparire di nuovo dietro la nube. L'orizzonte in sé sembrava fosse in fiamme e potevo fare solo due barche da pesca, quindi ho zoomato vicino a catturare il dramma. I colori che ho catturato la mia fotocamera sono stati deludenti e non affatto come ho potuto vedere, quindi li ho regolati in post elaborazione per replicare il più vicino possibile ciò che i miei occhi in realtà visto.
