Thanking everybody once again, some lovely comments, though Fabio - I could not understand hardly any of your comment, let alone why you felt the image failed, in your eyes. I guess translation messed things up on this one too.

Francis - and anyone else, he is cycling along a cycle/footpath, not a public road, so he is NOT on the wrong side. The wider side is for cyclists.

Giuseppe - as for walls hemming him in not being serene - well, I'm talking about London, so it is all relative. At least these walls and fences are nice and old and rustic and not ugly concrete!

And Chris! Thanks for looking closely! If you look really closely, he is hard on both brakes, (steep hill) as I am walking along the road at the bottom of the track, where it joins. He is looking to see if or what traffic there is coming along (his right to left). And no, it was a one off grab shot, just the one and it needed a bit of tidying up, cropping (right side) and vignette to make the most of it, which is why I only edited yesterday.
