Dopo questa 'latitanza' estiva, un mio cordiale saluto va a tutti i miei amici e a tutte le persone che condividono la mia passione. Sono stato in Portogallo, iniziando da Fàtima e mi sembra quindi doveroso postare per prima la Basilica che si trova in un immenso piazzale, due volte più grande di Piazza San Pietro a Roma e può ospitare fino a 300.000 pellegrini. Fu costruita nel 1928, undici anni dopo l'apparizione della Madonna avvenuta il 13 Maggio del 1917. Infatti quest'anno ricorre il centenario. La grande piazza è dominata da un campanile di quasi 70 metri. All'interno si trovano le tombe di Francisco e Jacinta Marta, che morirono in giovane età. Luzia, la maggiore dei tre pastorelli, divenne monaca carmelitana e morì il 13 febbraio 2005 all'età di 97 anni. Fàtima-Portogallo
