Le terme libere di Saturnia sono famose nel mondo per il favoloso contesto naturalistico che le adorna: le grandissime vasche calcaree create nel corso dei secoli dalle acque termali ricche di calcio sono conosciute a livello pressochè universale. Le acque fluiscono a cascata da un livello di vasche all'altro, ad una temperatura piacevole anche d'inverno, sebbene le medesime siano la risulta del flusso che alimenta il vicino stabilimento.
